Charcuterie Board Tips

  1. Steak: Take your charcuterie board to next level with 1855 Black Angus Beef strip steak. Season with salt and pepper, prepare the steak to your preferred temperature, and then cut into ½-inch slices for easy grabbing!
  2. Seafood: Turn your board into a surf ‘n’ turf board for an elevated eating experience. Simply choose your favorite seafood and prepare it to your liking. We used pre-cooked shrimp with cocktail sauce on the side. You can also opt for crab or anchovies.
  3. Cheese: Cheddar, pepper jack, and fresh mozzarella make great options for your board. Select varied textures and colors for taste and aesthetic. We love merlot cheddar paired with brie. Top the brie with a drizzle of honey for a sweet note.
  4. Something Crunchy: A diverse range of textures and tastes will always give your charcuterie board a bit of sophistication. We used hazelnuts, walnuts, pistachios, and cornichon, but feel free to fill your board with your favorite crackers, nuts, or pretzels.
  5. Something Sweet: Fruit and dark chocolate give your board some complementary flavors and textures. We used dark chocolate bits, blackberries, grapes, and pomegranate arils, but you can use whatever satisfies your sweet tooth!
  6. Sauces: Complete the picture with a few sauces. We love grainy mustard and garlic aioli, but add as many sauces as you like.
  7. Get Creative: Add whatever else you like! We chose a basket of baguette slices and a blood orange Old Fashioned cocktail.
